Kristen Miller is the Regional Vice President of RCM’s Northeast affordable community portfolio consisting of 4,000 HUD PBS8, LIHTC, and Mixed-Income apartment homes. Kristen is responsible for the oversight of all property operations, including team leadership, compliance, resident retention, and the financial health of the communities.
From 2017 through 2021, Kristen served as Vice President of Operations for Fairstead Management, responsible for 5,000 apartment homes across 23 affordable, Fair Market and Mixed-Income communities in NYC, and Regional Vice President for Related Management Company based in NYC and NJ, responsible for 5,000 units across 21 affordable communities. Both positions afforded a vast range of experience in various affordable housing programs including HUD PBS8, LIHTC, Section 236, RAD, HOME, Workforce Housing, and Mitchel Lama programs as well as Fair Market and commercial rental management.
Kristen brings over twenty-five years of experience in property management having started her property management journey from the ground level in Aspen Square Management’s maintenance and leasing departments before becoming their National Traveling Start-Up Community Manager after only seven years.
Other roles along the path that led Kristen to Rose have included Condominium Association Manager, and Leasing Agent for Eagle Crest Property Management, Regional Manager of South Middlesex Opportunity Council’s SRO portfolio where she led their property management division in the fight to end homelessness in Worcester, MA., and Operations Manager and Business Associate of D&D Chicopee Realty, LLC., which afforded her experience in conventional multi-family property acquisitions, new construction and development, budgeting, and finance.
