Myel’s joins RCM with deep experience in LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, CLIHTF, PRA, RAD, and HCV housing. She has also served as a contractor for the Chicago Housing Authority. Her boots on the ground and trauma-informed approach to managing properties in today’s industry have proved beneficial to previous organizations she has been a part of. She also takes pride in having full life cycle experience having sat in every seat from Administrative Assistant to Director. She feels this gives her the ability to understand what her teams face daily with insight on how to navigate what could be deemed difficult situations.
Mye’l has had the opportunity to work in several markets such as Washington State, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Having previously managed over 2,000 units at once, she brings a clear understanding of what it takes to both grow and stabilize a portfolio.
Before bringing her talent to RCM, Mye’l served as the Director of Property Management for a well-known non-profit organization in Chicago, IL. Her responsibilities included overseeing the management of a diverse affordable portfolio that included housing for the chronically homeless, senior housing, veterans housing, and more.
